Martin Mor: The Call Of The Golden Frog (Martin Mor / The Stand Comedy Club)

By | Published on Wednesday 31 August 2011

A cuddly kind of comedy lulls us into a false sense of security, as Martin Mor welcomes us into his show and asks us to contribute to the kinds of topics you wouldn’t at all mind your mum hearing about. From here, Mor takes us into stranger territory, still talking to his selected favourites in the audience, and especially those with their mums next to them. Delving into his childhood music collection, he explains how Rolf Harris was the original gangster, and shows some pictures of a young Cliff Richards that need to be seen to be believed. Uproariously funny and utterly loveable, Mor is a wonderful entertainer and provider of many insights on life.

The Stand Comedy Club II, 3 – 28 Aug (not 4, 15), 8.10pm (9.10pm), £8.00 – £9.00, fpp114.
