Mystery And Murder On The Menu At The Scottish Cafe (Mystery And Murder On The Menu!)

By | Published on Tuesday 30 August 2011

In The Scottish Café, quite hidden away, an audience gathered to dine. A murder to solve, and us to resolve, the puzzle of who did the deed. But fair it is to say that this was no play, no sophisticated offering at all. The price was too high, the acting brought sighs, though a couple of characters amused. The plot was appalling, the food just plain boring, and the cast ran away with the jokes. But do not despair, this is not all fair, there was some good in with the bad. For a supper with fun, watching characters undone, it was better than some. And one thing’s certain, this show was more pretty than my dull little ditty.

The Scottish Café & Restaurant, dates vary, 7.00pm (10.00pm), £39.00, fpp283.
