Hi-De-Homo! (London Gay Men’s Chorus Ensemble)

By | Published on Wednesday 22 August 2012

In Hi-De-Homo! the race is on to discover Camp Buttland’s Next Top Talented Apprentice Factor winner. The show features a range of songs by a melodic, all-male choir whose vocals are reminiscent of barbershop singers. The actors were funny, entertaining, and engaging, winning the audience’s hearts and livening up the venue. The plot, on the other hand, proved to be a decidedly weak point, but ultimately attempting to tell any sort of story seemed superfluous, as the show was really just a showcase for some incredible voices. London Gay Men’s Chorus Ensemble could do with better costumes -and a much bigger stage- but you’re still guaranteed to enjoy yourself watching their zany antics.
