Fresh from his nomination for the Edinburgh Comedy Award last August, Chris Ramsey returns with his third Edinburgh show, asking “How did we get here? Elaborately laid plan, or just pure fluke? Who knows… do you feel lucky?”
We asked him our Quick Quiz questions.
TW: Tell us about your 2012 show in no more than 60 words.
CR: It’s called ‘Feeling Lucky’ and is about luck and life.
TW: Tell us about another show or performer you’re looking forward to seeing this year.
CR: I can’t tell you who it is, as their run is being kept a secret and you can only buy on the door to avoid touts! But trust me, it’s going to be amazing, I can’t wait!
TW: How will you be preparing for the Fringe this year?
CR: Same as every year. Traveling the UK playing tiny rooms and battling for audience numbers against the tennis matches on TV… and writing it all at home on my own – ROCK AND ROLL!
TW: What advice would you have for someone coming to the Fringe for the first time?
CR: Just because it’s raining, doesn’t mean you should put a coat on. Edinburgh is one of the only cities in the world where it can be raining and warm as fuck at the same time. It’s horrible, bring a brolly or an Alton Towers Poncho.
TW: If your show was an Olympic sport, what would it be and why?
CR: A marathon, because the Fringe seems so bloody long.
