Seeing Double – Vision (Greenlight Theatre)

By | Published on Friday 17 August 2012

This is funny from the word go; a case of mistaken identity turns one delivery boy into the director of the next big hit… With a fair few disasters along the way! Fantastically performed, this drama sets the scene of a version of ‘Hamlet’ where nothing goes according to plan in rehearsals, leaving the cast to make it up on opening night, and leaving you on the edge of your seat wondering what tragedy will happen next. Implementing some technological effects for a clever chase scene, and with actors playing actors playing twenty characters who are animals, ‘Seeing Double: Vision’ exploits the notion of the eternally hectic life of “pro-dram” people and the chaotically bizarre world of the genius director.

Pleasance Courtyard, 1-26 Aug (not 13), 11.30am.
