The Good, The Bad And The Extraterrestrials (Young Actors Company)
By Joe Mountford-Smith | Published on Friday 31 August 2012
This interactive Western Sci-Fi comedy follows the story of a damsel in distress who is kidnapped by aliens, and whose boyfriend teams up with several wacky characters to attempt a rescue mission. The talented young actors were in character even before proceedings kicked off, handing us plastic guns and hats as we entered a show that had attracted an audience too big for a small venue – many were turned away and the room was cramped as I stood shoulder to shoulder with other observers. Imaginative and fun use of props gave the audience a lot of laughs and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Here are some promising young actors who deliver a crazy 45 minutes of action packed comical theatre – one of the better free shows I’ve seen.
