Sion James And Friends – Free! (Sion James Comedy)

Sion James finds himself somewhat in a quandary. He is the host for this variety performance but, despite his name being on the poster, he actually does very little within the gig itself. His riffing is ponderous, over-wrought and distracted, much like the man himself. Luckily, his guests drag the show along, especially the outstanding Jollyboat, who possess wicked minds in musical comedy and have a great future ahead of them. Dressed as pirates to start their set, the brothers’ speciality deft rhymes and puns are riotous, ludicrous and wonderfully daft. They pulled this show from the mundane into the perfectly respectful. Whether you, or Sion James, can expect that every evening is another matter.
