Verb Garden – The Decent Chat Show (Fair Pley / The Famous Spiegeltent)

Stripped-back and relaxed, you’ll have few better opportunities to causally mix with this year’s acts than at The Decent Chat Show. Unlike a polished performance this free-flowing event offers an insight into the inner-worlds of comedians, singers and politicians. With it panel changing on a daily basis, its main strength is the eclectic mix of people involved and their varying thoughts and opinions. Unfortunately, the acts did not gel as they might have done and excessive, forced laughter from the panel created an air of artificiality. Conversational topics may need better selection, as ten minutes discussing what animal’s name suits you best was probably enough for me. Ultimately unspectacular, this show still offers you the opportunity of meeting interesting people with interesting ideas.
