ED2011 5/5 Reviews ED2011 Theatre Reviews

Rogerandtom (Marathon House Productions and 4th Wall Productions)

By | Published on Saturday 27 August 2011

Rogerandtom is profoundly intelligent, hilarious, tragic, captivating from start to finish, and performed superbly throughout. The characters Roger, Penny and William/Richard take us through an assortment of emotions and personal dilemmas, which we referee along the way, only to be left, in due time, with bigger questions regarding our own personal decisions and their significance. It encourages the audience throughout the play to think simultaneously inside the box and outside the box, whilst putting all the conventions of theatre on trial. The storyline is fresh and innovative, and presents the theatre in all its grandeur. In addition to occupying your mind for the rest of the day, Rogerandtom is guaranteed to keep you highly entertained.
