Back To School (Arty Kamikaze & Take 3 Management)

‘Back To School’ is among the more inventive, unconventional and fun shows at the Fringe. The audience rewind time back to the camaraderie and mischief of the classroom, progressing through St. Dumbiedykes as students from year 7 to 11. The show hinges on uninhibited audience participation and because it is so improvised, there could conceivably be a new show everyday. The actors adapt seamlessly though, thinking on their feet in some of the most bizarre and unpredictable circumstances. Although a little childish at times, the show boldly invents a silly environment for adults and is a good laugh, particularly for couples or groups. Clementine Wade has masterminded a refreshingly original, clever and interactive concept; it is what you make it!
