Though neither has a routine particularly suited to the bright daylight that pours in through the large windows, Michelle de Swarte and her support act, Bobby Maher, both go down very well with their audience. Maher opens the show in his spaced out, Mitch Hedberg style, which, though it occasionally leaves the crowd perplexed, is consistently funny and bizarre. De Swarte, for her part, is different enough in delivery and style to keep the assembled revellers interested. She is not only a funny and skilful comedian but her stories are genuinely interesting and easily related to. Though the venue might not be quite right for the performance, the two comedians make it a very worthwhile hour.
