Blackbird (Et Al Theatre)

This site-specific piece is set in Edinburgh Training & Conference Venue. On arrival we’re greeted by the ‘receptionist’ who hands out name badges. After a few minutes, we’re led up three flights of stairs to a top floor office where we find an empty room, mess strewn around the floor. Enter Ray and Una, who are engaged in conversation, one that is gripping from the outset in that we, the audience, are not privy to the nature of their relationship or the references they are making to the past. As the story slowly unravels we are gripped in suspense, wondering is going to be revealed next. Clever writing and strong performances from the actors makes this a riveting show to watch.
